The University of North Dakota Formula SAE team is a student organization that works together to design, manufacture, and build an open wheel formula style race car. Every year, the car is taken to compete against other collegiate teams. UND FSAE welcomes students from all majors and all years in school. ​The UND FSAE team began in 2003 and has been building cars every year since then. The team is subdivided into smaller sub-teams consisting of: Chassis and Ergonomics, Steering and Suspension, Engine and Drivetrain, and Electrical Systems.
