About Our Car

For our 2022-2023 Formula car we are making the switch to Electric from our internal combustion engine. We will be using an Emrax 208 Electric motor to power our car with an outstanding 107 hp compared to our 35 hp Yamaha R3 Motor from the prior year. We will be using a Drexler differential driving 10" wheels. Our plans for this year range from a redesign of our suspension and consideration of our chassis ergonomics, to building a new Dyno to tune our engine.

This year we have had many underclassmen that are interested in participating with our team. With this engagement the team is able to have more hands-on help with the car and other miscellaneous projects around the shop to improve our workspace.
